Ilia Chavchavadze

We have inherited three divine treasures from our ancestors: homeland, language, and faith. If we do not protect these, what kind of people will we be? What answer will we give to future generations? We cannot speak for others, but as for us, we would not allow even our own father to lay waste to our native language or homeland. These are sacred; they belong to everyone and should never be touched by sinful hands.
