Niko Nikoladze (1843–1928) was a prominent Georgian intellectual, publicist, and reformer. In the 19th century, he advocated for modernization, education, and economic development in Georgia. He is especially known for his role as mayor of the port city of Poti, where he initiated major infrastructure projects, including the expansion of the harbor and the introduction of modern urban planning. Nikoladze is regarded as a key figure of the Georgian Enlightenment and a pioneer of a European-oriented development path for the country.

The mural was part of an interactive street game, initiated by members of the Boardgame Club and local street artists such as Sudha, Wise, Disko, and Sandro Pachuashvili. Passersby and tourists could use QR codes on a dedicated website, tavsatekhi.ge (no longer active), to solve puzzles and learn more about important Georgian artists and historical figures, including David Kakabadze, Giorgi Mazniashvili, Ramze Bartaia, Niko Nikoladze, Sulkhan Saba Orbeliani, and Ivane Machabeli.

Passanten und Touristen konnten mithilfe von QR codes auf einer eigens dafür eingerichteten Webseite tavsatekhi.ge (nicht mehr aktiv) verschiedene Rätsel lösen und so mehr über die kaum bekannten georgischen Künstler und historischen Persönlichkeiten erfahren, darunter David Kakabadze, Giorgi Mazniashvili, Ramze Bartaia, Niko Nikoladze, Sulkhan Saba Orbeliani und Ivane Machabeli.
